Isola Bella is located in Lake Maggiore, part of the group of the so-called Borromean Islands and is located in the gulf dedicated to the unspeakable family that still owns it, about 400 meters off Stresa. It measures 320 meters long and 180 in width and is largely occupied by the Italian garden of the Borromeo palace, which occupies the northwest coast of the island.
The palace, open to visits, shows its halls and rooms on the noble floor, built from the 17th to the 19th century, and at the bottom the caves. Also remember the botanical gardens with an incredible variety of exotic plants. In them the upper part is the so-called "amphitheater", given that there were the scenic representations that the Borromeo fans loved. Here are various statues, some made by the same designer, the Vismara.
